Michael founded MyEdu to help students get a better return on education and continues to lead our efforts to support better academic and career outcomes for students and early professionals. Michael brings over 25 years of experience building innovative software companies to MyEdu. He launched MyEdu after serving as CEO of Global 360 and leading that company through a high-growth transition and sale to private equity. Before joining Global 360, Michael was CEO and Chairman of one of the leading enterprise portal companies, Epicentric, Inc. Following the acquisition of Epicentric by content management company Vignette, Inc., he served as Vignette's Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations. Michael’s other experience includes leadership roles at Gemplus, ViewStar, and Computer Associates.
Chief Product Officer
In his role as MyEdu’s CPO, Frank leads MyEdu’s integrated approach to Product Management, Design, Engineering and Marketing. Frank is an experienced educational technology executive and thought leader who has been leading innovation in higher education for over 20 years. While at John Wiley & Sons, Frank helped create the groundbreaking interactive platform WileyPLUS, now used by millions of students worldwide. Frank was also one of the founding executives of CourseSmart, the leading eTextbook platform. In addition to his leadership roles at Wiley and CourseSmart, Frank was Chief Marketing Officer of LibreDigital through that company’s successful sale to RR Donnelley, and employee number four and founding VP of Marketing for LifeMinders, which went public in 1999.
SVP - Sales, Finance & Operations
Jonathan brings 25 years of experience to his role leading Sales, Finance, and Operations at MyEdu. He has built and managed Finance and Accounting organizations in technology, manufacturing, and services companies and helped drive highly successful enterprise selling organizations throughout his career. Jonathan joined MyEdu from MessageOne, which prior to its acquisition by Dell was ranked as one the fastest-growing technology companies in Texas by Deloitte. At MessageOne, Jonathan ran Financial and Strategic Planning and helped drive the sales organization to triple digit year-over-year growth before the company’s acquisition. Prior to MessageOne, Jonathan ran Finance and Accounting for both public and private companies in Southern California.
SVP - Engineering
For the last 10 years Keith has been building educational technology products that have been used by millions of students. He is an expert in higher education information of all kinds, especially course information and metadata. Keith leads MyEdu’s efforts to collect, normalize, and build applications from large education, skills, and jobs data sets in a service-oriented architecture. This platform enables MyEdu’s rapid application development and powers unique insights for students and employers. Keith is also an active participant in open source communities and continually refreshes the MyEdu stack with emerging technologies that better meet our needs.
VP - Design
In his role as MyEdu’s VP of Design, Jon brings true design thinking to MyEdu’s products and strategies. In addition to his MyEdu role, Jon is the Founder and Director of Austin Center for Design, a progressive educational institution teaching interaction design and social entrepreneurship. Jon has held positions of Executive Director of Design Strategy at Thinktiv, a venture accelerator in Austin, Texas, and both Principal Designer and Associate Creative Director roles at frog design, a global innovation firm. He was also a Professor of Interaction and Industrial Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he was instrumental in building both the Interaction and Industrial Design undergraduate and graduate programs. Jon has also held the role of Director for the Interaction Design Association (IxDA), and Editor-in-Chief of interactions magazine, published by the ACM. Jon is the author of the books Thoughts on Interaction Design, published by Morgan Kaufmann, Exposing the Magic of Design: A Practitioner's Guide to the Methods and Theory of Synthesis, published by Oxford University Press, and Wicked Problems: Problems Worth Solving, published by Austin Center for Design.
Deepak leads product management at MyEdu and is responsible for building our recruiting line of business with employers. He brings 10 years of product management experience to MyEdu most recently as product leader of Hoovers.com, a $100 million information business for Dun & Bradstreet. At Hoovers, Deepak led a technology and product transformation that drove double-digit sales growth. Prior to Hoovers, Deepak worked in management consulting for 8 years with Accenture where he implemented enterprise software solutions for Fortune 100 companies.
