Ameya Pitale's Recommendations
MATH 3113 Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations
He does a lot of examples and is willing to work with you if you have to miss a quiz or turn in a homework late (if you have a good excuse).

MATH 2433 Calculus And Analytic Geometry III
I absolutely LOVED his class. He explains everything sooo clearly and is constantly doing quick recaps that make it easy to understand. He gives regular quizes so you haven't forgotten everything from the beginning of class by the time you take the test. He also gave a bonus quiz which was awesome. He returns pretty much everything the next class (tests included). The tests are extremely fair and fairly graded. They are challenging without being ridiculous. He also has a really good, lighthearted attitude about math. He's so good that the class is easy, and you actually learn a lot. He is one of the best math teachers I've had at OU, hands down.

MATH 3113 Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations
Pitale is a very good professor. He is very intelligent and knows the material well. He can answer any question and actually explain the answer. Quizzes and exams are of reasonable difficulty, and graded fairly; generous partial credit is given in most cases.

MATH 3333 Linear Algebra I
Ameya's lectures are very organized and goes over enough examples for you to grasp the material. I made an easy A, but I am very good at math. I'm not sure if you'd consider him an easy 'A', but if you're looking for a good teacher, then he's your guy.

MATH 2433 Calculus And Analytic Geometry III
Very knowledgable of the material and always knows the answer to your question. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He assigns homework about every week, two mid terms, five quizzes, and a final so there is lots of oppourtounity to do well in his course.

MATH 3113 Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations
I had him for Diff EQ, and I have to say he is definitely one of the best math teacher's I've had. He teaches in a way that really helps you learn the material. His notes and explanations are very clear. There are 2 midterms, a final, and homework each week. He made Math 3113 seem a lot easier than what I thought it would be going into it.

MATH 4323 Introduction To Abstract Algebra I
He is a really nice guy and obviously loves math and makes the class enjoyable. There is weekly homework that can be difficult, but fairly represents what you learn in lecture. He is always available to help with the homework. He wants his students to succeed and doesn't try to make people fail. The tests are extremely difficult, but he gives partial credit and he even gave a make up quiz after one of the exams because he knew people didn't understand the material. He retaught it so we could understand better. He also does a lot of examples in class to help people understand the concepts, but the examples don't always represent the homework.

MATH 2443 Calculus And Analytic Geometry IV
Very clear lectures. Follows the book, uses problems out of the chapter review for the quizzes and exams.
