Jun Ji's Recommendations
MATH 1113 Precalculus
Jun Ji knows his math. He is a very energetic (literally a bouncingonhistoes, dropping erasers mathnut) and enthusiastic professor. He's almost always got a smile on his face, and he loves his beautiful math problems. He does a pretty good job of explaining math problems and hinting at what may be on the tests (watch for problems he spends a particular amount of time on and looks at, saying, beautiful problem!). All of the 12 questions on each of his three tests and final are extremely similar to (and in some cases exactly the same) as the homework problems. Be sure to do all of the homework; there is usually a surprise question for a weird homework problem few knew how to do that he merely reviewed the next day. There are 3 tests and a final, each of those four counting 23.25% each, and there is a 7% participation/atendance/quiz grade. Your grade on the final replaces your lowest nonzero test grade (if its lower than your grade on the final), still counting as a separate grade (3 test grades and a final grade).

MATH 1106 Elementary Applied Calculus
Jun Ji tells you exactly what you need to do to succeed in his class. Show up every class and do your homework. If you get stuck on a problem, try to work it out by looking at the examples in the book. He is very enthusiastic and very animated when teaching the concepts. I got an A without reading any of the text but by paying attention in class and doing all the homework assignments.

MATH 2202 Calculus II
I have had Dr. Ji for Calc I and Calc II. He is an awesome teacher. He is really energetic and really knows his math. His tests are just like the assigned homework problems. My classes had 3 tests and a final. The lowest test score out of the first three tests is replaced by your grade on the final. He is very approachable and will answer any questions that you may have during class or after class. I would definately recommend taking him for Calculus.

Jun Ji
Jun Ju is an energetic Prof who really enjoys the subject. Those who say you can't understand him must be deafhis English is only slightly broken. He gives the class unlimited time to ask questions about the previous night's assignment, and he won't go on with class until everybody understands. Take notes, ask questions, do your homework, and you WILL get an A.

Jun Ji
I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants a firm understanding of Trig. He enjoys math and it shows in his lectures. He doesn't offer any extra credit nor does he grade on a curve but if you pay atention and practice the homework, you will do fine. All of his tests and quizzes are directly from the homework and he offers a good study guide for each test including the final. Sometimes he is a little hard to understand but if you are patient and ask questions he will do whatever he can to help.

MATH 1113 Precalculus
An amazing teacher. He doesn't give that much home work, and all you have to do to get an A in his class is show up to class, do all of the unrequired homework on time with the class, and the repeat most of the home work problems for each of the three tests. He is an excellent teacher. Most people I think get Bs and Cs in his class, but they don't do the work. If you make an effort to do all of the home work problems, and to understand them (the answer book was helpful), you will get an easy A. Just do the work... which isn't that much.I'm only 16 and I got an A in his precalculus class, if I can get an A you can to. He is by far my favorite prof. He explains everything you need to know in class; except for a few times at the beginning, I didn't have to read through the lessons in the book.I always looked forward to going to his classes, because he is such a cool, funny, and interesting individual.

Jun Ji
He's an enthusiastic teacher & wants students to understand methods of solving problems thoroughly. Therefore, he takes you stepbystep. Sometimes, he may make you feel small, but don't let that get to you, also because that feeling of 'tinyness' won't last for long. He does not speak English fluently, however, good enough to understand. 1 Do your homework, because tests & quizzes are based on homework2 Practice, practice..3 Try not to miss his classes nor walk out in the middle of his teaching a new lesson ~.^

MATH 2202 Calculus II
Mr. Ji wasn't dull or mean or anything. His class got a little boring at times, but just because calc 2 is boring. He tells you all the time to come to his office if you need help. We had four tests all with 12 questions. I really liked that he tested not only the really hard material, but some of the easier, basic stuff so it is possible to get a good grade even if there is a little stuff you are not sure about. He is very nice and even funny sometimes.

MATH 1106 Elementary Applied Calculus
He is a very good teacher, you can understand him fine. His class is pretty easy, just do the homework (he assigns some every class). His tests come from the homework and he will usually tell you which problems to study (because they will be on the test).

Jun Ji
J. Li is a very good teacher, expecially is you are a wizard at doing math. He will go over the formulas, making sure that you understand the material, if one can practice half of the homeworks and stay current with the materials he sould get an easy a on the class.that worry about the accent after the first day you will perfectly understand him.good teacher! i'll take his classes every time i have the chance.

MATH 1106 Elementary Applied Calculus
He is very thorough. The class is not tough. He stresses on homework, but I really didn't do any. His test are pretty straight forward. He taught the class like a High School class, and he has reviews.

MATH 1190 Calculus I
Dr. Ji is a GREAT math teacher, he wants his students to succeed and become something great in life. His door is always open for help, and he expects you to go see him when you're having trouble. His by far the best math teacher i've had at Kennesaw. He gives a lot of homework, but do the homework, and you'll get an A in the class. His tests are based on homework. He is also very funny.

MATH 1113 Precalculus
Very enthusiastic about mathematicsExplains material thoroughlyDedicated to helping students learn

MATH 2202 Calculus II
Calc 2 is probably the most challenging math course @ ksu. It requires a lot of work. Ji loves math and is one of the happiest ppl I've ever met. He is so eager to help you succeed. His tests are tough, but his quizzes keep you on task and if you keep up with the hw, you should be fine. The final was probably the hardest final I've taken so far in college. It's just a lot of material. His course might be a bit more challenging than other professors, but I have a strong foundation of Calc 2 now that I wouldn't have gotten from other professors. Ji will push you, but I like teachers like this and he is a lenient grader. He gives partial credit.
