Why is Pick-A-Prof becoming MyEdu?

Pick-A-Prof is a great resource; we just wanted to make it better. So the team at Pick-A-Prof has been working hard to bring you MyEdu. We took a massive amount of data on colleges and universities across the U.S. and combined it with all the degree and career information to bring you the largest warehouse of academic information. Combined with even more services such as the Education Network (see What is MyEdu? for more info), Pick-A-Prof is excited to finally introduce MyEdu. You’ll still find all the great services you loved on Pick-A-Prof, but with a whole lot more.

What is MyEdu?

Pick-A-Prof took all the suggestions from our 1.5 million members to create a truly unique and more comprehensive service for everyone. MyEdu is the simplest and most effective way for you to plan and manage your entire college education. Find the same great Pick-A-Prof services you loved available on MyEdu, and a whole lot more. You’ll be able to use MyEdu’s tools to eliminate all catalogs and homemade spreadsheets; analyze, select and build a degree plan; map out a semester-by-semester plan; see the remaining courses you need to graduate; choose classes that fit your degree plan; track your GPA and performance throughout college and much more.

Will Pick-A-Prof still be available?

All schools will be moved from Pick-A-Prof to MyEdu within the next 60 days. Until then, Pick-A-Prof will still be available at some campuses. If you aren’t sure whether your school is available or not, just go to www.pickaprof.com and login. Once you are logged in, our system will either take you to Pick-A-Prof if your school is not available yet or will transfer you to MyEdu if your campus has been transitioned. As we finish compiling all the new degree, course, professor and schedule information for a campus, the Pick-A-Prof data and services (combined with the new MyEdu information and applications) will be made available only at MyEdu.

How do I know when to start using MyEdu?

Login to Pick-A-Prof and if your school’s data is now available on MyEdu, you will be directed to the MyEdu site. If your campus isn’t currently available on MyEdu, then you’ll be able to continue to use Pick-A-Prof until we have your school posted by the upcoming fall semester.

When will my school be available on MyEdu?

Over the upcoming months, Pick-A-Prof schools will become available on www.MyEdu.com. By fall semester, all Pick-A-Prof members’ accounts will be available at MyEdu. You’ll continue to enjoy the same great services as Pick-A-Prof, plus you’ll have access to all that MyEdu can offer you.

What if I use Pick-A-Prof for multiple schools?

Many Pick-A-Prof users have accounts for multiple schools. Since MyEdu is being made available on a roll-out basis, some schools will still be available on Pick-A-Prof while others will only be available on MyEdu. Pick-A-Prof will allow you to login, check your account for the school most recently used on Pick-A-Prof and then will either direct you to the MyEdu site (if your school is available on MyEdu) or allow you to use Pick-A-Prof (until your campus is available on MyEdu).

Why would I transfer my Pick-A-Prof account to MyEdu?
