Take Williamson! She's an awesome professor who is great at teaching but also truly cares about her students. The lecture style is her going over her powerpoints, which you can find online before class. The best way to take notes in the class is to print off the powerpoint and fill in the blanks she leaves during class. Also, don't get behind on OWLs. If you're sort of on top of them, the material is much easier to learn in class. The grade in the course is made up of 3 tests (We take 4 but she only counts your best 3 scores), 1 final, 9 quizzes (online - she only takes your best 9 grades. She gave about 12 quizzes this semester), OWLS, and clicker points (Only 70% of the points, which is easy to make if you go to class regularly). There are plenty of opportunities to do well in this class - especially if you're aiming for a B in chemistry. I have an A this semester and didn't find it necessary to use A+ tutoring; however, I know a lot of students who wouldn't have their A without the tutoring, so that just depends on your style of learning. One hint for the tests, they are only about 16 MC questions. This format throws a lot of people off on the first exam because if you get 2 wrong - you have a B. This is normally why people drop their first test score. If you go slow and watch your units you should be good for the tests.

if you want an easy A, take her. her practices tests are exactly like her real ones. he lectures are extremely boring, but if you go to class the test is a breeze. homework took 2 to 3 hours a week. i studied maybe 3 hours for each test, pulling an easy A. if you want to actually learn something though, maybe another prof would be better. her tests are mostly plug and chug so if you don't feel like learning anything you really don't have to.
