Course Description

3.5 Avg. GPA

(No prerequisite. Two, three or six activity hours weekly.) This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic principles of fitness using a variety of modalities including weight machines and free weights. The emphasis will be on creating an individual fitness program with a focus on proper technique and injury prevention. May be taken four times for credit. (CSU/UC) AA/AS Area H
