Pros

Laura Nader is a tough professor but know what she is talking about. She challenges you to think; and though taxing, the value of this course is priceless. I would take it again and again. She attempts to expand your horizons while questioning the stability of your reality. This course challenges the ingrained ideologies and the limitations of those indivisible truths to radicalize your thinking and understanding of this world.

Cons

It is and arduous undertaking to read all of the material thrown your way, but it is worth it. Nader can be confusing and unorganized at times but all to underscore the material. She is also a polarizing individual that is not afraid of confrontation.

Pros

The work for this class was way less than my others, and the material was very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed both Nader and the class. I'm guessing if you have problems leaving your comfort zone or questioning your own beliefs/assumptions you may dislike a class by Laura Nader, but maybe you should take one just to expose yourself to another way of thinking!

Cons

Do not write short answers, even when the GSI's say so because then you will get marked down. I got a B on my midterm because I wrote very short answers like they asked for. On my final I just answered the questions as fully as possible and got an A+
