Amazing professor. Knows all of the material like the back of his hand and will offer you plenty of further reading if you wish to look deeper into the issues he covers. Class discussions are fun and interesting. I would recommend attending as much as you possibly can, it makes studying for the tests incredibly easy. I didn't read much of the required material (an essay or two out of his course packet) but paying attention in class and taking notes are all I needed to get A's on the tests. He is very forgiving to those of us who aren't philosophically inclined, as long as he sees you putting forward an effort. He takes advantage of opportunities outside of the classroom and will offer at least two chances for extra credit during the semester.

He is very knowledgeable and interesting. The lectures were interesting most of the time and he relates the topic to today's problems/issues. Feel free to ask him for help in explaining any theories, etc. He was willing to help.
