Pros

- Pretty funny and easy to understand - Doesn't lie (too often) - Pretty easy on attendance. - Capable of teaching while staying interesting. - His essay prompts are surprisingly straightforward.

Cons

- Occasionally skips a few time periods due to class Q&A sessions about the exams/essays going too long.

Pros

He makes his lectures sooo simple to understand by constantly numbering the major aspects of the topic and reiterating the major ideas EVERY lecture. He is also the one that wrote the text book for the class so his lectures and assigned readings are exactly the same! Two eight-page papers, but they're based on novels and you get to pick from three choices which book you want to do. And he is hilarious. Definitely a very interesting and informative course.

Cons

As the course moves to the contemporary era, things get a bit confusing to follow at times but it isn't anything that can't be cleared up by doing the readings.
