Jacobson is a great teacher. Work load is light for this class, and assignments are online (as is the book) so you can look up answers as you do them. The class is mosly watching videos, with him stopping them and adding information. You will learn a lot about music and rock from this class. Very fun and very informative.

what a great teacher!! i highly recommend him for any music class. he's such a nice guy and genuinely cares about the subject with all of his heart. he's fun to listen to and has some really great things to say. the course itself is harder than i thought it would be, but he makes you WANT to do the work and so it's not too hard to get an A.
